As you have time, there is a variety of activities you may join, if you are interested in any of them, we may include in the following suggested itinerary and you may even extend your stay. Unique place for Hot Air Ballooning in Turkey is Cappadocia. For adventure, Horse Riding or Mountain Bike, Jeep safari, hiking reserve in advance. In the evenings, you may either just enjoy your stay at your hotel or go in Sarıhan Caravanserai near Avanos to see Tourthe whirling Dervishes of Mevlana, founder of Sufism in Turkey.
Program:
29 August 2010: Istanbul- Cappadocia
Take the morning flight from Ataturk Airport in Istanbul by Turkish airlines departure 10:00am. Arrival at Nevsheir airport at 11:15am and meeting just outside the arrival's gate with a sign bearing your name with your driver. Transfer to Cappadocia. Tour to Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the most interesting underground settlements in Cappadocia. Soğanlı Valley, an Open Air Museum in a wild natural setting near a typical Cappadocian village with its different style Rock-Cut churches and frescoes. Villages in the valleys, surrounded by the "table top" mountains, are spectacular. Lunch and Visit to Sahinefendi newly discovered (01 May 2002) mosaic houses & Archaeological excavation site. Continue with Keslik Monastery near Cemil, that hides its frescoes behind a very thin smoke layer which we can only see by torch light. Our tour finishes with a visit to Mustafapaşa (Sinasos), an old Greek town with its spectacular old Greek houses; very fine examples of late Greek settlements and architecture. Overnight Cappadocia
30 August 2010: Cappadocia Hot air ballooning ( extra)
In the morning, first meeting with the lunar landscape of Cappadocia: rock formations beyond belief in Devrent valley; a journey in the past with its troglodyte houses, visit to Pasabag "fairy chimneys" where the voice of wind mixes with the "songs of fairies" near Zelve . Lunch in Avanos, centre of terra cotta work of art since 3000 BC. and a demonstration in a traditional pottery workshop. Afternoon, visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum and see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock-cut churches with frescoes and paintings (10th to 13th century). Continue to Uchisar Rock-Castle to have a panoramic view of the valleys of Cappadocia. Overnight Cappadocia
31 August 2010: Cappadocia- Istanbul
Walking in Ihlara Canyon, a "mirage" in the Steps of Anatolia up to Belisirma village, the ancient Peristrema: "Valley of the Sky" along the Melendiz River. Rock-cut churches, spread across a wild plantation, surprise you with their successfully painted representations from the Bible. Lunch in Belisirma a local restaurant by the river. Stop by Selime, a village with cave houses at the end of the canyon and a "star wars" like landscape. Transfer to Kayseri airport to take the Turkish airlines flight departure 20:25pm to Ataturk airport, arrival in Istanbul at 21:55pm.

There are two different flights, please choose which one you like.
DELUXE BALLOON FLIGHT (Average of 1 and a half hour in the air):
Price: The price for balloon ride is EURO 250 per person. You will have it
for EURO 220 if you pay in cash. Booking should be through Cappadocia Tours
if you wish to have special rates. The size of the basket is for 8 to 12
people. Participants will not be more than 12...
STANDARD BALLOON FLIGHT (Average of 45 minutes to 1 hour in the air)
Price: The price for short ride is EURO 175 per person. You will have it for
EURO 140 if you pay in cash . Booking should be through Cappadocia Tours
if you wish to have special rates.
The size of the basket is for 16 to 20 people. Participants will be about
16-20 people...
Price Includes pick-up from the hotel and back, coffee and cookies before
take off, souvenir certificate after landing and Champaign celebration...
All our passengers are insured up to 1.000.000 EURO by Allianz International
Insurance.
Reservation: Please reserve at the earliest time due to dates and locations

Pilots: They are licensed, professional and have long years of experience
behind them. With these pilots you will not just fly over Cappadocia,
depending on the season, pilots may bring
you so close to fruit trees, like apricots or to collect flowers and up
again.
They will pick you up from the hotel early in the morning, they fly over
valleys of Cappadocia full of rock formations, fairy chimneys and natural
beauty. Actual flight starts before sunrise and effective flight in the air
is about 1 hour and 30minutes, sometimes a little longer. Example: You wake
up at 05:30am and are back at the hotel around 08:30am. They have a Champaign
celebration at the end of the flight.
How many balloons: 6-8
How many people per balloon: The size of the balloons changes between 8 and
20 people. Small 8 to 12 people size balloons are used for deluxe flights,
larger ones for the standard.
Season:
The balloon tours run everyday, all year-round except if there is a bad weather. We receive reservations for any date and only the day before the ride or sometimes on the morning of the flight we may be canceling it due to Weather.

Payment: Please send name, number, and expiration date of your card ( MasterCard or Visa )
We will secure all of your reservations with the credit card. You may fax the information

Your card will not be charged when you are sending the information filling the form. It will be used as guarantee to secure the bookings. Credit card payment
All the rates are given on the basis of payment in cash and no discount is included for cash. For all credit card payment, we will add 6% administrative fee. We would be very grateful if you can pay the balance in cash in US Dollars, Sterling, Euro or Turkish Lira.

Cancellation ( Applies to the total of Package)
Up to eight weeks before commencement of the booking, 10%.
Between eight weeks and four weeks before commencement of the booking, 25%.
Between four weeks and two weeks before commencement of the booking, 40%.
Between two weeks and one week before commencement of the booking, 60%.
During the last week before commencement of the booking, 80%.
During the last 72 hours before commencement of the booking, 100%.
PS: No refunds of any amount will be paid less than 72 hours before arrival, for no show or while on tour. Any change on a booked reservation is considered cancellation and cancellation terms apply.
Regardless of the nature of the cause of cancellation (health, natural disaster...etc) cancellation fees apply to the total price of package. We recommend trip insurance, please contact your insurance company locally in your country for this
